Cemetery Gates Society

The Cemetery Gates Society is a space for a monthly no entry fee flash fiction contest, interviews with up-and-coming writers, a monthly column about the writing/publishing biz from Gabino Iglesias, and our Cemetery Gates Club.

Our March 2021 theme is: “Haunted Church Confessional”

Send us (cemeterygatesmedia@gmail.com) a horror flash fiction piece (500-1500 words) based on our theme between March 5-12. In the subject line of your email state the theme, your wordcount, and story title. One winner will be announced here and on Twitter on Mar 15th and paid $50 for First Publishing Rights on our website, w/ no reprint restrictions after publication. Send only one story per contest as a doc/rtf attachment. Rejections won’t be sent. Try again the following month! We want to pick a new winner for each month of 2021, but we’ll need a bunch of entries or Corey Farrenkopf will win every other month.
