The Nested Man is a supernatural thriller from award-winning novelist and screenwriter Mark Steensland.

Mark Steensland is the author of the award-winning novel Behind the Bookcase (Random House) and winner of Best Script at Shriekfest Horror Film Festival in Thriller and Horror (2021, 2015). He started his professional career at the age of 18, as a journalist, writing about movies for such magazines as Prevue and American Cinematographer. His award-winning work as a filmmaker has been featured in festivals around the world. Mark’s novel for adults, The Special, was published in 2018 and has been made into a feature film. He most recently wrote feature film, Jakob’s Wife, starring Barbara Crampton (Days of Our Lives, The Young and the Restless), which premiered at SXSW ’21 and has received a positive buzz (recent write up in the Los Angeles Times) and has already won awards. He currently lives in California with his wife and their three children.
